Booking Terms & Conditions
Thredbo Chalet Holiday Accommodation
Payment Conditions -
Cheque, Cash, Direct Deposit, Mastercard, Bankcard or Visa. (Credit Card payments will attract a 2.0% merchant fee in addition to the payment required)
Deposit -
A deposit of 50% of the total costs of the booking must be received before it can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the booking being automatically cancelled. If the booking is made within 60 days of arrival, payment in full is required immediately. FINAL PAYMENT must be made 60 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL or the booking is automatically cancelled.
Cancellation and Refunds - If a deposit has been paid, cancellation of your booking must be in writing and must be received by us. Cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the following conditions.
1. Bookings cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total booking cost.
2. Bookings cancelled 30 to 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost.
3. Bookings cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking cost.
Snow Conditions -
Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for snow or weather conditions, nor can any holiday be cancelled or altered at any time after the deposit has been paid on the basis of snow or weather conditions.
Insurance – Snowbound Chalets Management strongly recommends that you obtain travel insurance against loss of deposit, medical expenses, loss of personal belongings, public liability and cancellation fees.
GST - the supply of services contemplated by the booking is input taxed and is not a taxable supply. Therefore the price is not required to include any GST.
Security Bond - is required at check-in by Mastercard, Bankcard or Visa
Check In time is 4.00 PM @ Office in Snowbound Chalet 3
Check Out time is 10.00AM
